The Evans Honeymoon in Aruba! Part 2

I’m back to share part 2 of my husband and I’s honeymoon adventure! I left off with us arriving to beautiful Aruba and settling into our room. We then went on a submarine cruise where we saw plenty fish and an Aruban shipwreck.

That evening, we experienced a private sunset dinner on the beach with just us. We had an amazing server and enjoyed a 4 course meal including surf and turf which I personally never had before. The view was breath taking as seen in the pictures here. It was so nice to spend time away from our phones and just connect with one another outside in the elements. I definitely want to make this happen again!

The next day we went on our UTV excursion which I was the most excited for! We had to be down in the lobby by 9am to get on a bus and head to our destination. There were about 20 other couples with us and we took off on our UTV tour around the island. Here are a few videos of our adventure!

This was definitely my favorite part of the honeymoon although we were incredibly dusty afterwards!

Once we got back to the hotel after the excursion, we showered and got ready for our evening dinner at the hotel restaurant. We woke up the next day, which was our last day at the resort and we decided to get couples massages! It was my second time ever getting a massage and it was very relaxing. The women were gentle but firm and I almost fell asleep lol That same evening we ventured out onto the strip outside our hotel and got dinner at an Italian restaurant across the street. We were both honestly very tired by this point and ready to head to bed. So we wrapped up the last night there and went home to prepare to leave the next morning.

Overall, our honeymoon was a great experience. It was our first time traveling out of the country not only together but as individuals. We will forever share that experience together. I recommend all engaged couples to spend money on their honeymoon. It may not seem as important, but it actually is very key. This will be the first time you will get to spend time with your spouse once the madness of the wedding calms down. You’ll get to create experiences together, relax together and have fun as you begin your new life together. I cannot wait until our next vacation which I’ll definitely write about!
